So last year I decided that 2020 sounded like the perfect year to expand my horizons and get a master’s degree abroad in Barcelona. (LOL)

It’s been, different.

Anyway, for our first final project, Mallorca footwear brand Camper tasked us with coming up with an idea that would entice Gen Z’ers.

And seeing as these centennial kids are all “woke” and very into the green stuff, we decided to create the first plantable shoe.

Yeah that’s right, a shoe that you put into the ground and it later turns into a tree.

My group and I created all audiovisual materials from scratch, picking flowers and seeds which we later scanned and used for our creative pieces. We wanted to maintain a simple and analog esthetic throughout.

The packaging for the Blooms also works as a flower pot.

Isn’t that the cutest?

And to give Gen Z’ers a more active role throughout the process, we invited university students to participate in the creation of the shoe.

Now we just have to actually make them.
