COVID fucked a lot of shit up. And while many organizations were already trying to fix some of humanity’s biggest issues, Miss Rona got in the way of that as well. One of these organizations is Open Arms, a Spanish non-profit who’s sole purpose is to rescue African refuges stranded in the Mediterranean Sea. Because of lockdown, they had to cease all operations and lost their barely noticeable spotlight to the virus.

In order to recover visibility and raise awareness of their cause, we tapped into people’s thirst for travel once lockdown was lifted. We created a fake cruise line that would offer exotic, high-end voyages across the Mediterranean Sea. It wasn’t only until our audience was about to whip out the credit card that they noticed something was grim about their vacation package. It was basically the same trip a refugee would take.
